    A major sector rotation appears to be underway with a flight into boring/safety names such as $INTC and $MSFT. Meanwhile money is being pulled out of ags ($AGU, $MOS, $POT) and moving into financials ($XLF). It will be interesting to see if this is the beginning of something more.

    The market surged higher following the FOMC announcement/ Bernanke press conference with the S&P 500 closing above 1355. Driven by strength in retail, transports, and large cap tech the market appears poised for further gains in the days ahead. I am maintaining my upside target of 1370 by Friday’s close.

    The S&P 500 finally broke through key resistance at 1338 and has made new intra-day 52-week highs above 1348. If the rally can hold into the close I believe the market looks strong and poised for further gains in the days ahead. This is eerily reminiscent of the massive rally on Tuesday March 17th, 2009 the day before the Fed announced the first round of quantitative easing. What does the Fed have in store for us tomorrow?
