Saturday Night Chart Thoughts – Is Gold a Bubble?

One of the greatest bubbles of our lifetimes was the Nasdaq or “dot-com” bubble which topped on March 10th, 2000 at an intraday peak of 5132.52 on the Nasdaq Composite ($COMPQ):
Silver ($SI_F, $SLV) reached a bubbly phase earlier this year at nearly $50/ounce, however, it remains to be seen if that was a major long term top or simply a short/intermediate period of irrational exuberance:
Is gold($GC_F, $GLD) as Dennis Gartman stated last week “one of the great bubbles of our time”? If it is a bubble then how close is it to popping?
